Bektaşağa Köyünden Hüseyin-Sevim Mutaf çiftine ait müstakil evin odun deposunda çıkan yangın kısa sürede odun deposunun büyük bir bölümünü sardı.
Saat 17:00 sularında çıkan yangını gören Bektaşağa köyü eski YİBO’da kalan Afkan iki genç zaman kaybetmeden itfaiyeyi arayarak yangından haberdar etti. Ev sahiplerine ulaşamayan Afkan gençler odun deposunda çıkan yangının eve sarmasından korkarak evdeki eşyaların bir bölümünü dışarıya çıkartarak koruma altına aldı.
Bir süre kontrol altına alınamayan yangına çevrede bulunan vatandaşlar hortumla su sıkarak müdahale etmeye çalıştı.
Yangın sırasında evde olmayan ve eve sonradan gelen ev sahipleri, yangının odun deposundan eve sarmış olduğunu görünce gözyaşlarına hakim olamadı. Çok kısa bir sürede evin küçük bir bölümünü de etkisi altına alan yangın itfaiye ekiplerinin yoğun uğraşları ile kontrol altına alındı.
Yaklaşık yarım saat boyunca söndürülemeyen yangın odun deposunu tamamen kül haline getirirken olaydan can kaybı yaşanmaması sevindirici etken oldu. Yangının neden çıktığı bilinemiyorken, olayla ilgili soruşturma sürdürülüyor
