Taşköprü ilçesinde Salı Pazarında sobadan sızan karbonmonoksit gazından zehirlenen anne Ferda Demirkıran ile oğlu Kürşat Demirkıran,Taşköprü Devlet Hastanesinde ilk müdahalesi yapıldıktan sonra Kastamonu Dr. Münif İslamoğlu Devlet Hastanesine kaldırıldı.

Buradaki tedavisinin ardından anne Ferda Demirkıran ile oğlu Kürşat Demirkıran, ileri tetkik ve tedavi için Ankara Sami Ulus Çocuk Hastanesinde sevk edildi. Burada yaklaşık 10 gündür yoğun bakımda yaşam mücadelesi veren Kürşat Demirkıran hayatını kaybetti.

Kürşat Demirkarın’ın cenazesi, Taşköprü Ağcıkişi Mahallesi’nde dedesine ait evden alındıktan sonra Taş Camii’de kılınan cenaze namazının ardından Kurban Tepe Mezarlığı’nda ailesinin ve yakınlarının gözyaşları eşliğinde son yolculuğuna uğurlandı.

Kürşat’ı hem cenaze namazı sırasında hem de toprağa verilme esnasında Atatürk Ortaokulu 7. sınıfta birlikte okuduğu öğrenci arkadaşları yalnız bırakmadı. Arkadaşları, Kürşat’ın mezarına karanfil bıraktılar. Anne Ferda Demirkıran’ın ise, durumunun iyi olduğu öğrenildi
