Kastamonu’da son 15 günde toplam 35 kişi yedikleri mantardan zehirlenerek hastanelere kaldırıldı. Tedavi altına alınan 35 kişiden durumu ağır olan 1 kişi ileri tetkik ve tedavi için Ankara’ya sevk edilirken, geçtiğimiz günlerde de Tosya’da 2 kişi hayatını kaybetti. Ayrıca Hanönü‘nde de vatandaşların mantar toplaması yasaklandı.

Sonbaharın gelmesi ve yağışların da artmasıyla birlikte Kastamonu il genelinde mantar bolluğu yaşanıyor. Halkın özellikle bu dönemde önemli geçim kaynakları arasında yer alan mantar bazen zehirlenmelere, kimi zaman da ölümcül sonuçlara yol açabiliyor.

Kastamonu’da son 15 günde kent genelinde 35 kişi yedikleri mantardan zehirlenerek hastanelere kaldırıldı. Hastanelere kaldırılan 35 kişiden durumu ağır olan 1 kişi ileri tetkik ve tedavi için Ankara’ya sevk edildi. 4 kişinin Kastamonu Eğitim ve Araştırma Hastanesi’nde tedavisi devam ederken, 30 kişi de tedavilerinin ardından taburcu edildi. Ayrıca geçtiğimiz günlerde Tosya’da da yedikleri mantardan zehirlenen 2 kişi hayatını kaybetmişti.

Hanönü’nde mantar toplanması yasaklandı

Hanönü ilçesinde son günlerde mantar zehirlenme vakalarında artış görülmesinin ardından İlçe Hıfzıssıhha Kurulu kararınca ilçe genelinde kültür mantarı hariç olmak üzere mantar toplanması ve mantar satışı yasaklandı.

Karar, belediye hoparlöründen vatandaşlara duyurulurken, alınan kararın ardından vatandaşların mantar tüketiminde daha duyarlı olmaları istendi.

Kastamonu Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Acil Tıp ana Bilim Dalı Öğretim Üyesi Prof. Dr. Fatma Mutlu Güven, son günlerde Kastamonu’da mantar zehirlenmelerinde ciddi artış yaşandığına dikkat çekti. Kastamonu’da lezzetli mantar türlerinin olduğunu ifade eden ancak bunların yanında insan sağlığını olumsuz yönde etkileyen ve hatta ölümüne yol açabilen mantar türlerinin de olduğunu kaydeden Prof. Dr. Fatma Mutlu Güven, “Mantarlar konusunda halkımızı uyarmak istiyorum. ‘Biz bu işi yıllardır yapıyoruz. Biz biliriz, mantarı tanırız, bizi mantar zehirlemez’ gibi cesaret göstermek yerine bu konuda mutlaka bir uzmandan yardım almalıyız. En doğru yaklaşım aslında toplama mantardan uzak durmaktır” dedi.

“Pişirince mantarın zehri kaybolmaz”

“Mantar pişirilip yenilirse zarar vermez” algısının yanlış olduğunu kaydeden Güven, “Pişirince mantarın zehri kaybolmaz. Zehirli mantar yine insanı zehirler. Çiğ mantar pişmişe göre daha zehirlidir. Pişirince zehrin kaybolduğuna dair yanlış bir inanış oluşmasın” diye konuştu.

“Mantar yedikten sonra şikayetler oluyorsa mutlaka acil servise başvurulmalıdır”

Mantar zehirlenmesinin belirtileri hakkında da açıklama yapan Güven, şöyle konuştu:

“Baş dönmesi, ishal, kusma, uyku hali gibi durumlar olabilir. Hangi durumlar olursa olsun mantar yedikten sonra şikayetler oluyorsa mutlaka acil servise başvurulmalılar. Özellikle belirtmek isterim ki kültür mantarlarında yendikten sonra zehirlenme olmaz. Kültür mantarında hem üretim, hem de saklama koşullarında hijyen kurallarına uyulmuyorsa zehirleme yapabilir. Bu zehirlenme besin zehirlenmesi oluyor. Örneğin 4 kişilik aileden 3’ü zehirlenmiş 1’i zehirlenmemiş olabiliyor. Bu durumlarda yanlış düşüncelerden ötürü hastaneye başvuru gecikebilir. Toplama mantarda zehirli kısım diğer aile üyelerine denk gelmiş olabilir. O yüzden her ne olursa olsun mantar yedikten sonra bir şikayet hissedilirse acil servise başvurulmalıdır. Her zehirsiz mantarın yanında bir zehirli mantar bulunabilir. Zehirli mantarların sporları zehirsiz mantarların üzerine düşebilir. Yıkanmadan yendiğinde zehirsiz olduğu değerlendirilen mantarlar bile ciddi zehirlenme durumlarına yol açabilir. Toplama mantardan uzak durmaya çalışalım”

Mantar zehirlenmelerinin diğer besin zehirlenmelerine benzemediğini, ölüm oranının daha yüksek olduğunun altını çizen Güven, “Besin zehirlenmelerinde tedavi şansımız var. Bu bakteriyel bir etken ile de olabilir. Besinin kişiye karşı oluşturduğu bir reaksiyon ile de olabilir. Mantar zehirlenmeleri ölümcül olabiliyor. Bu yüzden daha ciddi bir şekilde ele alınmalıdır. Zehirlenme belirtisi geç ortaya çıkıyorsa ki bazı mantarlarda geç ortaya çıkabiliyor, daha ölümcül olabiliyor.
