Sizde geçmişi biraz tebessüm ile hatırlamak isterseniz..Bu haberimizi okumanızı tavsiye ederim.

Çocukluk anılarımın kahramanı olan elekçi ve çerçiler şimdilerde yerini taksitçi dediğimiz satıcılara bıraktılar

İSTANBUL- Eskiden elekçiler, çerçiler olurdu. Köy köy gezip satış yaparlardı. Erkek olanların tahta bir kutusu bayanların ise bohçası olurdu. Bu kutu ve bohçalarda iğneden ipliğe, incik boncuk ne ararsan vardı. Köylülerin neye ihtiyaçları olduğunu iyi bilen bu kişiler belli aralıklarla köylere uğrar ve ihtiyacı olanlara hizmeti ayağına götürürlerdi. Bu alış verişlerde asla pazarlıksız satış olmazdı. Çerçilerde bakır tava, kazan, ibrik, bakır pekmez kazanları, tavaları, elek, kalbur çeşitleri, su tasları, çorba tasları bulunurdu. Köylerde buğday ve mısırları elemek için en çok ihtiyaç duyulan gereçti elek ve en çok da bunu satın almak istediklerinden sadece elek satanlar da vardı demek ki ‘’elekçi ‘’ ismini almışlardı. Hatta bu isim onlarla o kadar özdeşlemişti ki o yıllarda yerinde duramaya ve çok gezen çocuklara ‘’ elekçi gibi gezme ‘’ derlerdi.

 

Köy köy gezen bu elekçi ve çerçiler, köylülerin ihtiyacı olan eşyaları tedarik etmenin yanında bakıp kazan, tencere ve tavaları kalaylar. Dışarıda açık alanda odun ateşinde büyük kazanlarda pekmezler kaynatılır, bulgurlar kaynatılır ve kışlık erzaklar hazırlanırdı. Harlı odun ateşinde günler süren bu işler yüzünden bakır kazanlar, pekmez tavaları kapkara is tutardı. Bu yüz de bakır kaplar mutlaka kalaylanırdı. Kalayı olmayan bakır tencereler, tavalar asla kullanılmazdı. Bunun sebebini ise büyüklerimiz şöyle açıklarlar ‘’islenen ve kalaylanmayan kaplar bakır tutar’’ derlerdi. Bu kaplar, bakır tutunca zehirleyip öldürürmüş. Bu yüzden kışlık ürünlerini hazırlarken en büyük yardımcıları olan bu bakır gereçleri kalaylaması için çerçilere götürüp sıraya koyarlardı. Bizim köyümüze gelen Çerçi ailenin reisi Rıza amcaydı. Rıza amca tüm bakır kaplara bakar ve her birinin ebadına göre fiyatını belirlerdi.

 

 

Tabi ki o zamanlar da köylü yoksul, tarlasındaki ürününü satıp elde ettiği parasının bir kısmını yine gelecek yıl ürün hazırlamasında en büyük destekçisi olacak ve evinde kullandığı bakır kapların kalaylanmasında kullanırken elbette pazarlık yapacaktı. Elekçi ve çerçilerden alış veriş yapmanın güzel tarafı da kışın sattıkları malların parasını yazın almaya gelirlerdi.
