28 Temmuz Perşembe günü Boyabat İlçe Milli Eğitim Müdürlüğünde yapılan kısa bir tören ile önceden belirlenmiş 17 İlkokul öğrencisine bisiklet dağıtıldı. Törene Boyabat İlçe Milli Eğitim Şube Müdürü Serpil Çakmak, İlçe Milli Eğitim Müdürlüğü Mebbis Yöneticisi Taşkın Aydın, Okul Yöneticileri, öğrenci velileri ve öğrenciler katıldı.
Edinilen bilgiye göre Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı ile Sağlık Bakanlığı’nın birlikte yürüttükleri “Sağlık İçin Hareket Et” adlı proje kapsamında bisikletler öğrencilere dağıtıldı. Bilindiği gibi daha önce ki tarihlerde yine Boyabat İlçe Milli Eğitim Müdürlüğü tarafından çeşitli tarihlerde ortaokul ve lise seviyesindeki öğrencilere de bisiklet dağıtımı yapılmıştı. Hatırlanacağı gibi yine 19 Mayıs Atatürk’ü Anma Gençlik ve Spor Bayramı kapsamında öğrenciler bisiklet turu düzenlemişti.
Bu şekilde öğrencilerin hem spora yönelmeleri hem de bilgisayar-internet bağımlılığından uzaklaştırılması amaçlanmaktadır. Yapılan bisiklet dağıtımında öğrencilerin tamamı ilkokul öğrencisi olduğu için projenin her eğitim seviseyinde ki öğrenciye ulaşması sağlanmış oldu.
Bisikletini teslim alan öğrencilerin mutlulukları ve memnuniyetleri yüzlerinden okunuyordu. Törene katılanların hatıra fotoğrafı çekilmesi ile program sona erdi. İlçe Milli Eğitim Müdürlüğü tarafından bu şekilde öğrencilerin sosyalleşmesine yönelik projeler gerçekleştirilmesi memnuniyetle karşılandı.
