Sinop 15 Eylül Gazeteciler Cemiyeti üyesi gazeteciler Sinop basının bazı sıcak olaylarda karşılaştığı engellemeler başta olmak üzere, kamu kurumlarıyla ilgili bilgi edinme sorununu Vali Erol Karaömeroğlu ile paylaştı.
Cemiyet Başkanı Cengiz Demirel beraberindeki Gazetemiz Kurucusu Serhat Özşahin ve cemiyet üyesi gazetecilerle birlikte Sinop Valisi Erol Karaömeroğlu’nu makamında ziyaret etti. Başkan Demirel ziyaret sırasında geçtiğimiz günlerde Sinop’ta yaşanan bir trafik kazasında gazetecilerin görüntü almasının engellemeye çalışılmasını Vali Karaömeroğlu ile paylaştı. Ayrıca Demirel, bazı kamu kurumlarıyla basın arasında bilgi kanallarının tıkalı olduğunu belirterek, konunun çözümünü talep etti. Başkan Demirel ayrıca konuya ilişkin cemiyet tarafından hazırlanan dilekçeyi de Vali Erol Karaömeroğlu’na bizzat teslim etti.
Sinop’ta gazetecilerin her zaman devletinin yanında yer aldığını belirten Sinop 15 Eylül Gazeteciler Cemiyeti Başkanı Cengiz Demirel, bazı kurumlarca yapılan uygulamalara anlam veremediklerini söyledi.
GAZETECİLER KİMİ ZAMAN FİİLİ ENGELLEME GİRİŞİMLERİNE MARUZ KALIYOR
Başkan Demirel: “İlimizde görev yapmakta olan basın mensuplarımızın haber takiplerini yaptıkları esnada özellikle güvenlik güçlerinin fiili engelleme girişimlerine maruz kaldıkları, bir süredir devam eden ve bu durumun zaman zaman sözlü hakarete, zaman zaman ise hakarete ilave olarak darp noktalarına kadar geldiği görülmektedir. Yaşanan ve kabul edilemez bu tutum ve görüntüler genellikle vatandaşların da bulunduğu ortamda cereyan etmesi nedeni ile sadece görevini yapmakla yükümlü olan basın mensuplarına karşı infial durumuna kadar gelebilmekte, basın mensubunun görevinin engellenmesinin yanı sıra can ve mal güvenliklerine kastedecek düzeye kadar sıçramalar gösterebilmektedir.

Yaşanılan son örnek, Sinop-Boyabat karayolunda meydana gelen bir trafik kazasını takip sırasında Gerze Jandarma Komutanlığına bağlı bir güvenlik kuvveti personelinin Haber57 ve Flaş Haber gazeteleri imtiyaz sahibi ile Gerze’nin Sesi Gazetesi adına olay yerinde bulunan arkadaşlarımıza yapılan uygulamalardır. Bu gibi durumlarda yetkisiz olduklarını bildiren kurum yöneticileri basın mensuplarını Valiliğe yönlendirmekte, Valiliğimizin ilgili birimi ise bu durumda bilgiyi haliyle ilde görev yapan tüm basın ile paylaşmakta, böylece özel haber niteliği ortadan kalktığından gazetelerimiz birbirinin benzeri haberlerle okurlarının karşısına çıkmaktadır. Kısaca, basın mensupları arası haber rekabeti ortadan kalkmaktadır. Bu durum okurlar açısından da ‘bir gazete almak tüm gazeteleri almakla eşdeğer’ değerlendirmesine neden olmaktadır.
