İlk ateşle 1 üsteğmen şehit oldu, 4 asker yaralandı. Yaralılar arasında bulunan bir uzman çavuş da kurtarılamayarak şehit oldu. Türkeli’ne bağlı Yeşiloba köyü nüfusuna kayıtlı uzman çavuş Recep Öncü (24) de bu çatışmada yaralanan askerler arasında. Selahaddin Eyyübi Devlet Hastanesi’ne kaldırılan Öncü, iç kanama şüphesiyle bir gün yoğun bakım ünitesinde kalmasının ardından yapılan tedavisinin ardından bugün taburcu oldu.
Sinop Valisi Hasan İpek de bugün ailesine geçmiş olsun ziyaretinde bulunacağı öğrenildi.
Bu arada, bölgeye takviye birlikler sevk edildi. Kobra helikopterlerin PKK’lıların kaçış noktalarını ateş altına aldığı bölgede geniş çaplı operasyon başlatıldı.
